countries and we have just unearthed a beauty of a Video Games and
Computers Museum to visit in the beautiful country of Croatia.
PEEK&POKE was actually Opened in 2007, and is
one of the few permanent displays of vintage / retro computing
technology in Europe!
The museum is Located in the centre of the city of Rijeka and spread across 300m2 of space.
The museum contains more than 1000 exhibits of
world and local computer history, ranging from video games consoles to
ultra rare computers from the last few decades.
The museum also contains an expansive library of books and magazines from the bygone era of consoles and computers
The museum is the main driving force behind PEEK&POKE and it attracts many numbers of visitors from Croatia and further afield.
The majority of the museum is taken up by exhibits which are presented in an interesting and interactive way.
Most of the exhibits are actually operational and you are encouraged to get involved by actually trying them out in order to experience the past just like you may or may not remember from your own childhood years!
There are many items to put on display , so usually there will be something new to see every time you come to PEEK&POKE
