I'm always on the lookout for retro gaming related items to buy, even though I haven't really got the room and I generally settle for emulation over physical hardware due to space constraints.

But sometimes I just like looking around eBay and fantasising about owning an AMSTRAD CPC and playing football manager 2 on it all day long.

When I drift off into eBay land and get lost in the myriad of listings I usually filter my search to items ending soonest to see if my dream of snaring a 99p Spectrum could become a reality, but this obviously never happens.

Then I find myself wondering what a good price for a SNES is on eBay is and I'm off down the SNES rabbit hole for another 30 minutes!

My conclusion at the end of all this tomfoolery is:

1. I haven't got the space for a SNES

2. I haven't got enough plugs for a SNES

3. I wish I had all the links to sold items handy so that I could get a feeling for how much I should be paying for a SNES on eBay.

So this is where this permanent living article comes into effect.

I am going to create a list of links to detail the sold prices for all the consoles and computers I can think of and then add to as I go along.

The categories will be video game consoles, handhelds, computers and magazines as these are the things I browse the most on eBay.
