I mainly needed some raid gear but didn’t have a consistent group to run with anymore. Random groups were taking too long to organize, and I wasn’t really interested in spending several evenings hoping the same group would stay together. If you’re in a similar situation, you can choose a heroic/mythic raid boost depending on the difficulty you actually need. I went with the option that matched my gear goal rather than trying to push the highest difficulty just for the sake of it. That saved me quite a bit of time compared with repeatedly searching for a suitable group.
Has anyone used a WoW raid carry after their guild fell apart and they no longer had a reliable Mythic raid group?
