A full-size wired keyboard (although a wireless version is also available) with some of the best RGB lighting customisation I’ve ever seen – honestly, it was addictive to scroll through the settings – the Trust GXT Torix 866 very quickly became the keyboard I used for my daily tasks, although after a vital tweak involving key sensitivity.A tasteful keyboard with chunky, satisfying key-presses - although this is a mechanical keyboard, so its not the quietest when in use! – the sheer number of settings in the RGB lighting was astonishing, from water droplets through rainbow fades, patterns and generally everything that you could imagine in a lightshow, there absolutely will be something for everyone here.
So, yes – the keyboard looks and feels great, but there is a caveat in that the keys are initially incredibly sensitive, and I mean sensitive – I would say that a press of a key is registered if you push a key down even a quarter-press, this initially led to errors in my typing from accidental key brushes etc. luckily, the included software allows you to adjust the sensitivity, saving this from being a real issue.
Another awesome product from Trust at an affordable price that doesn’t skimp on quality or presentation, awesome stuff.
