Here we go it's Games Freezer Game Of The Year Time and first up with his GOTY List is Transvaal!

Game of the Year - Resident Evil Village 9.5/10

This was a strange one for me, going into it as both, a long-time fan of the series, but not enjoying the previous game - I really didn’t know how I was going to feel about this newest entry. 

I loved it. The game felt perfect to mark 25 years of Resident Evil, the plot was at its campy best with over-the-top villains and the 1st person gameplay adding to the terror.

Village is a fun yet scary romp, it is worthy of the Resident Evil name and is my undisputed pick for GOTY.

Where The Heart Leads 9/10

This would win both my ‘best indie game’ and ‘best story’ awards, a wonderful tale of love, strife, pain, loss and acceptance. The game has a wonderful and striking visual style, combined with a heart-warming story that has its fair shares of highs and lows. You are faced with dealing with some heavy-duty choices which force you to ask some very powerful moral questions.

Tales of Arise 8.5/10

Tales would be my pick for the best JRPG of the year, it is a wonderful and visually stunning adventure, full of interesting characters who - if they could shut up and stop bickering for twenty seconds - would have pushed this game much higher. Even with that gripe, Tales had exciting combat that never felt boring, an intriguing plot that didn’t outstay its welcome and stunning locations that were a joy to explore. I loved my time with Tales of Arise and look forward to future games in the series.

Tormented Souls 8/10

This is the most fun I've has gaming all year; I couldn’t put it down. Tormented Souls is a love letter to the survival horror games of the ‘90s, whilst I've played a few games that have tried to capture that magic, most of them fell flat on their ass (one of which would make my worst game of the year), but Tormented Souls succeeds triumphantly. It encapsulates everything I love about the genre, admittedly it does keep some things that probably should stay in the ‘90s, but the absolute joy and nostalgia far outweighed any dodgy camera angles or poor voice acting.

Triple Triad Award

I've given out my game of the year award, but it's not actually the most important award of the year, that would be the ‘Triple Triad Award’ which is given out to the best mini-game of the year -  previous winners include Orlog and Gwent.

This year's Triple Triad Award goes to… Zhuolu Chess

This mini-game was featured in Xuan Yuan Sword 7 - which is an enjoyable game in its own right  - but deep down all I wanted to do is play Zhuolu Chess, it was addictive, it was strategic and it was bloody great.

In being the best mini-game of the year, it is by default the best thing in gaming this year.

OK… maybe that’s too far, but it would make my top 10 best mini-games of all time - and that’s impressive.

    ED64 Plus has evolved a lot with time. Most of the new versions come with pre-loaded SD card installed in it. Hence, it ed64 plus is mostly plug and play. However, you can use the setup guide below if you face any problem or have an older version.

    One look at this shiny, stylized game might make you think it's just a parody of Genshin Impact, and while there are certainly similarities, Tower of Fantasy has a number of systems and mechanics. jogos mmo
