Previously available in the American keyboard layout, the new release brings localised keyboard layouts to the UK, Spain, France, Germany, and the Nordics.
The UK layout comes in the Commodore-inspired colour scheme with the C64 Retro Mechanical Keyboard, while the German, French, Spanish and Nordic layouts are a nostalgic NES-style grey and red.
As with all 8BitDo products, each one is a thing of true beauty.
The 8BitDo® Retro Mechanical Keyboard is distributed across the EU by Game Outlet Europe® and is available for an SRP of €99.99 / £85.99.

It’s interesting to see how gaming hardware brands adapt their products and marketing for different parts of Europe. A local approach can make a difference when it comes to availability, pricing, support, and simply making a product more familiar to customers in a particular region. For gamers in Ireland, European releases can be especially relevant since access to new accessories and controllers may vary between markets. I also came across https://znaki.fm/ie-en/casino/neteller-casinos/ while browsing other Ireland-focused gaming content and spent a little time looking through it. The subjects are quite different, but both are related to the wider world of online gaming and entertainment. Overall, an interesting read for anyone following gaming news in Europe.
