Pixel Arcadia has officially landed — and retro gaming fans worldwide just witnessed one of the biggest nights the scene has ever had.
More than 50 retro and neo‑retro titles, eight World Premieres, surprise launches, classic revivals, and a historic return for Commodore all combined to create a showcase that felt like a love letter to gaming’s golden age.
Hosted by Pixel Helix, the UK agency specialising in retro games, the debut event aired on 24 August 2026 and united publishers and developers from across the globe. The mission: give retro gaming the stage it deserves.
Terranigma Returns – The Headline Moment Retro Fans Have Waited Decades For
The show opened with a seismic reveal: Terranigma is officially coming back. Licensed by Square Enix and published by Clear River Games, this rebirth brings the legendary Quintet ARPG to modern platforms in 2027, supported by members of the original development team. For many fans, this was the moment of the night.
Blaster Bug Shadow‑Drops – Dotemu’s New Arcade Multiplayer Is Free to Play Now
