I’ve been using these pretty consistently for over three weeks now, and I’m impressed with what the GXTrust Oxxie offers, in fact – they have usurped my previous day-to-day earphones due to their more balanced, yet still bass-heavy sound.
The earphones feel solid and robust, and the charging case - whilst it is plastic - also feels resilient, as well as being stylish in design. The case also handily holds a USB-C Bluetooth adapter for those platforms that require it.During my time with the GXTrust Oxxie, I’ve found the connection to be extremely reliable, and the battery life as described, with the in-case charging comfortably keeping the earphones ready for action, even when in heavy daily use.
The case is somewhat rounded which makes it comfortable when it’s in a pocket or coat, and it feels well-made and sturdy, with the simple, accessible features being self-explanatory. All trust products now come with easily understandable image-based instructions, meaning that a glance at the included booklet will get you up to speed in just a few seconds.
Whilst I have another pair of more expensive earphones that I use for specific tasks such as listening to song mixes of my band’s music, just to get the absolute best audio possible for that particular scenario, the Oxxie earphones are a solid choice for everyday use. The bass can be quite pronounced, so it may be a tad overwhelming in some cases, but the noise-cancelling properties certainly add to the immersion when gaming – the Oxxie is suitable for multiple platforms – and in terms of ergonomics and wear, they are more comfortable in the long run than a lot of the headphones we’ve covered here at GF at similar prices
Trust continue to release products for gamers that are fairly priced and are suitable for multiple applications, meaning that these are as practical for gaming as they are for listening to music or podcasts, a solid thumbs up from us here at GF!
