It’s always a pleasure to be blindsided by pure joy and, when this Last Ninja 2 vinyl arrived, I couldn’t believe how quickly I became completely infatuated with it. Over two weeks on from arrival, it is still getting daily spins in my record player with no signs of slowing up. For the record, the A-side of this album consist of three songs that are so strong that they rank up there at the top of the genre in terms of album kick-offs, it’s unbelievably good stuff.
Creaks is a game that is very much adored by its fanbase for the care and craft that was clearly put into it, resulting in a title whereby the visuals and music are just as important as the fundamental gameplay.
It therefore makes sense - following the ‘making of’ documentary focusing on the music of Creaks (https://youtu.be/67S-rAyku3U) - that a book dedicated to the art is released. I’ve been a fan of Paco Rabanne’s scents for quite a while now. From not being able to wear the divine Ultraviolet due to the age-old problem of too many people in my circle of friends also wearing it through to a moment about six years ago when I first came across their eau de toilette ‘Paco’ whilst waiting for a flight to Paris and was told off by my now-fiancée to ‘stop smelling my fists, it looks weird’ (I had tried a few scents out in the airport and my knuckles were the only free spot left on my hands/arms for Paco, and it was an addictive smell!).

An ARPG with a heavy focus on story, the game is linear, which to my mind isn't a bad thing, it follows Taishi Zhao, an orphaned mercenary who is trying to earn money to pay for his sick sister's medicine - this is the basic plot but fairly quickly it takes a turn.
