Fly Bunch Boom! - Take 100g of Saturday morning 80’s cartoons, a slice of madness, two shots of over the top cartoon violence and your someways toward describing the crazy button timing beat em up that is Fly Punch Boom!
You will literally fly around the stage destroying the scenery and using it as weapons to pelt your opponents with.

The scenery can include skyscrapers sunken ships and whales that are flung across the stage with a long press of Y and bring a smile to your face as you pursue your opponent.

You are penned in the stage through the use of a bungee like a rope that surrounds the airborne stage.

You’ll need to collect glowing stars to power up your special but the bread and butter ๐Ÿงˆ of fights are made up of dashing at your opponents and timing button presses to inflict the most damage whilst also looking to counter your opponents with a well-timed button press.

This game is mega fun but took me a fair bit of time to get used to the button timing aspect but once I knew what the hell was going on I really began to enjoy it and really appreciate the varied ways to inflict death on your opponents.

The only things that did annoy me slightly were the length of the matches as they do seem to go on a while as you try and grind your opponent down until their window of escape means that their button escape only has a thin sliver of opportunity to work.
When I finally won a match I was over the moon but exhausted with the effort.

I like this game and it fits well with the Switch as you pound out a few matches on the fly.
Give it a go if you like over the top Saturday morning cartoon fights mixed with Monty Python farting moons and deadly whale finishers!

Right, I’m off to pummel my opponent in mid-air whilst hurling the midsection of a skyscraper at his head.
