Car Go! is a small, simple delivery game that keeps things light and accessible. With such a vast range of genres available, is this one worth picking up?

Upon loading into the main menu, you’re greeted with three straightforward options: Start, Arcade, and Settings. While functional, the settings menu feels a little bare, notably lacking an option to adjust sensitivity. Visually, the game adopts a cute, minimal style with a distinctly mobile-esque look and feel.

Gameplay is very easy to grasp: collect an item and deliver it to its destination. As you progress through the stages, obstacles such as roadworks and closed bridges are introduced, encouraging you to take alternative routes. As long as you deliver enough items to reach the target within the time limit, you’re free to move on to the next challenge.

While the core gameplay is accessible, it does become repetitive after a while. However, the inclusion of four-player co-op is a welcome addition and helps keep things enjoyable. Personally, I feel games like this would benefit from additional features to better engage younger players, especially when playing with friends or family.

Overall, Car Go! is simple, with clear and easy-to-understand mechanics. Co-op significantly improves the experience, particularly when playing with others, and delivering items together can be genuinely fun. Unfortunately, after around an hour, the repetition begins to set in, and players seeking a deeper or more challenging experience may want to explore other titles within the genre.
