Arriving in flatpack form, the GXT 709 Luminus RGB Gaming Desk is quite easy to set up, and feels robust, with the exception of the rubber cable covering underneath the table exposing the MDF internals a little too much, and not sitting quite as snugly as I’d like. The anti-scratch top layer covering is easy to polish, giving it a great look, whilst it’s worth mentioning that it’s a product made from sustainable woods. The desk lighting controls are also touch sensitive, meaning that you can switch between the ten lighting modes easily, and the whole plug-in process is simple and effective.
