The EGX fairy has been and it's Day 3 of the awesome video games event EGX 2015.

I'm off to Day 4 on Sunday 27th September and it will be my first ever visit to EGX and boy am I excited.

Let's have a look at all the cool things i'm getting excited about which includes my TOP 5 video games that i'm looking forward to playing and probably being crap at....
EGX 2015 is the UK's Biggest Video Games show and is made up of 3 zones of video games goodness and to pick out just a few awesome things is a tough task as there are so many treats to get stuck into.

A Retro Treat
First and Foremost for me will be a visit to my friends at Replay who are hosting the retro video games area. After visiting a couple of the Replay Events I know to expect the cream of the retrogaming crop there which includes....

5 Nuggets Indie Game Goodness
Aside from the retro awesomeness there are five new games that I just can't wait to get my hands on.

1. RPG TYCOON

"RPG Tycoon is a simulation game that puts you in control of a newly established fantasy Kingdom. The previous leader left its followers in despair and now it’s up to you to grow the Capital from nothing and reclaim the title of the most honored Kingdom in the land. In RPG Tycoon you hire Heroes to work for you, send them on quests across the land and use them to help spread the word of your cause. Use the loot that your heroes find to build new stores and facilities in order to attract nearby villagers into your kingdom who will spend their hard-earned gold coins and continue to promote the growth of your empire."

2. Pollen
"Pollen is a first-person exploration game set on Titan, the sixth and largest moon of Saturn and the only moon in the solar system with an atmosphere and vast liquid seas, where life may exist. Inspired by science-fiction classics Solaris, 2001: A Space Odyssey and Moon, as well as adventure games Gone Home and The Dig, Pollen begins as the player docks and enters Research Station M to replace a lost mechanic."

3. Eitr
"A beautiful looking adventure game made in pixel heaven"

4. Move or Die
"Move or Die is an absurdly fast-paced, 4-player local and online multiplayer party game packed full of crazy fun game modes. With rounds lasting only 20 seconds and not moving literally resulting in character death, Move or Die is a quick game to pick up, but a hard one to put down."

5. The Masterplan
"The Masterplan is a tactical team-based game where you plan and execute bank robberies and other heists. The 2D top-down view gives you a great overview of what's happening at any given moment, allowing you to be a real criminal mastermind.

Set in 1971, a story written by Tom Jubert (FTL, The Swapper), hand-drawn graphics, and the soundtrack recorded by real musicians with real instruments that evoke the unique mood of a 70s crime movie."

That's just five of many great games that i'm looking forward to getting my hands on!

I will let you know how I get on when I bring my own style of cack handed gaming to EGX2015!
