Kickstarter is full of awesomeness when it comes to new video game related projects.

My regular Kickstarter sweep of all things video games brings up a whole host of exciting looking projects.

I just wish I had enough money to back them all!

So instead of trying to back all of these beauties I will be sharing with you
"The Cream Of The Kickstarter Crop" to spread the word on these amazing projects....

Without further ado, let me introduce you to the first of my Kickstarter favourites....
1. Legends Of Fire & Steel - Kickstarter Goal $50,000

"A turn-based single and multiplayer fantasy world conquest game mixed with board game and card game mechanics that is currently being developed for PC, Mac, and mobile tablets (iOS and Android).

It is inspired by epic strategy games like Civilization, Crusader Kings 2, and Heroes of Might and Magic, but with the shorter playtime and simple controls of a game like Risk, Lux, or FTL."

The age-old problem of multiplayer strategy games
"The multiplayer game uses a simultaneous plan and resolution cycle.
It removes the tedium of hotseat-style gameplay where players wait for each other to finish their turn.
During battle resolution, each unit has an attack type namely missile, melee, or magic.
These go one by one in an auto-resolve order. Mixing and matching these with the heroes’ different abilities allows players to create different strategies in every game."

Funding through Kickstarter:
"Legends of Fire & Steel has a funding goal of $50,000.

Through Kickstarter, Boomzap plans to involve fans in a critical part of the game development process.

Player feedback through early beta testing is essential in making sure the game features are working correctly upon release..

Backers who pledge money towards the project can expect exclusive rewards such as a digital artbook, official soundtrack, signed posters, and more, and also get the chance to co-design a hero with their own concept, or name one of the characters and territories.
If successfully funded, Legends of Fire & Steel will be set to release in Q4 2015."

My First Impression:

This game looks slick and is really looking to cater for the people like myself who want depth in their gameplay but maybe don't have as much time as I used to to play these type of games as regular as I used to.
