At the time of writing there is only 5 Days until Play Expo rolls into town and satisfies the needs of todays diverse set of Video Gamers!

The 2 day event runs from Saturday 11th to Sunday 12th October and takes place at Manchester Event City.

This year the Play dudes have set up 5 Zones for gamers to visit which makes it one of the most representative Video Games Shows out there.

There's still some time to get your tickets and pay a visit to this fantastic video games show so read on and find out what will be happening at Play Expo this weekend!

"Retrogaming Awesomeness"

Re.play offers up the biggest retro gaming event in Europe and comes with a vast range of retro gaming software for all the retro heads out there.

Trust us, you will not be disappointed!

Imagine over 100 retrogaming consoles, computers, arcade games & pinball machines and all set to free play…..

The classics will all be out to play including, Pacman, Outrun, Track & Field, Street Fighter 2, Gauntlet, Star Wars, Operation Wolf, Bubble Bobble, Donkey Kong, Super Mario Bros & Sonic.

"Todays & Tomorrows Video Games"

A zone where current generation new and upcoming releases collide with the cream of the indie gaming crop.

Over 100 PS4's will be available to play within the Now Play Zone and hooked up to those consoles will be some of the following cool video games...

Here’s a list of what we can confirm will be playable so far:

  • Pro Evolution Soccer 2015
  • MXGP
  • Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes
  • Injustice: Gods Among Us

Alongside the above games there will be 33 games from 24 indie studios available to play.

The Indie coverage will be far bigger than previous Play Expo events and this time there will be a chance to vote for a "Peoples Choice" award for the best Indie Game at the show.

You will have the opportunity to play each indie game and then vote at the show for your favourite.

With games like "The Escapists" , "Flockers", "Mendel's Farm and "Stealth Inc 2" choosing a winner will be mega fun but a tough choice!
